Indoor / Outdoor Hood Covers

Many Adagio Water Features are designed with open hoods. To customize your installation, you can choose to add either an indoor or outdoor hood cover to your fountain.

Indoor hood covers are optional accessories used primarily for aesthetic purposes. They are made from a black, opaque material that sits on top of—or inside—the hood to conceal the internal components when the feature is viewed from above. This is especially useful when your water feature is placed near a stairwell, loft, balcony, or any area where the top is visible.

For outdoor installations, we recommend placing your water feature in a covered area such as a porch or under an awning. If you live in a region with freezing temperatures, always drain the water before winter to prevent damage from frozen water.

To protect your system, we also recommend adding an outdoor hood cover. These covers help prevent moisture, debris, and rain from entering the light bar and hood components. Outdoor hood covers are constructed from the same metal trim as your water feature for a clean, integrated appearance.

Outdoor hood covers for wall-mounted features are slightly angled to allow water to run off the front and are attached with hinges so you can easily swing them up to access the water distribution unit and light bar. Other styles are flat and can be lifted off for quick, convenient access.
